COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

RealmWarden is a place to gather your table, tell great stories, and play tabletop role-playing games together. These Community Guidelines explain how we expect everyone to treat one another and the platform. They work alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy — where the Terms are the binding rules, these Guidelines are the plain-language spirit of how we want the community to behave.

RealmWarden is an 18+ platform. By using it, you agree to follow these Guidelines. Breaking them can lead to content removal, warnings, suspension, or a permanent ban, at our discretion.

Be respectful

  • Treat other players, Game Masters, and staff with basic courtesy — even in character, even in a heated encounter.
  • No harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or targeted abuse of any person or group.
  • No hate speech or content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar characteristics.
  • Disagreements happen at the table. Keep them about the game, not the person.

Keep content lawful and safe

Do not create, upload, share, or link to content that is illegal or that endangers others. This includes, without limitation:

  • Any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or depicts minors. This is never allowed. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
  • Sexually explicit or obscene material, or content that is excessively violent or gratuitously graphic.
  • Content that promotes, incites, or coordinates violence, self-harm, terrorism, or other serious harm.
  • Malware, viruses, or anything designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Doxxing or sharing another person's private information without their consent.

Respect intellectual property

  • Only upload content you created or have the rights to use.
  • Do not upload copyrighted maps, artwork, audio, or published game material you do not own or have permission to share.
  • If you believe your copyright has been infringed on RealmWarden, see our Copyright & DMCA Policy.

Play fair

  • No cheating, exploiting bugs, or abusing tools to gain an unfair advantage or to disrupt others' games.
  • No impersonating other users, Game Masters, or RealmWarden staff.
  • No spamming, scams, phishing, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform or its security features.

Respect privacy and consent at the table

  • Only share information about other players that they are comfortable sharing.
  • Session content and chat may be visible to others in your game. Treat fellow players' contributions with care.
  • Talk with your table about content boundaries. Good sessions are built on consent and communication.

Reporting & enforcement

If you see content or behavior that breaks these Guidelines, report it to us at abuse@realmwarden.com. Please include links, usernames, and a short description so we can act quickly.

We may remove content, edit or restrict access, issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Guidelines or our Terms — with or without notice, at our reasonable discretion. Serious or illegal activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities. We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we act on reports and on violations we become aware of.
